About

Working biography

A USEFUL KIND OF HYBRID

Creative direction with a builder’s instinct.

I’m Mbeng Ngassa, an award-winning cinematographer and creative technologist working where image, story, systems and emerging technology meet.

I grew into this practice by making: identities, businesses, films, packaging, websites, experiments and worlds. The disciplines change. The deeper work does not—understand the thing, find its character, and build the structure that lets it live.
